NAIT Connect - App for iPhone® & Android™

Shearwell’s NAIT Connect app helps you comply with NAIT regulations by connecting an SDL440S or SDL400S EID Stick Reader to your device and using it to read your cattle or deer RFID ear tags.

After the tags have been read (or manually entered through the keypad), they can be sent to NAIT to either register the application of tags or to record the movement of animals.

NAIT Connect can also keep tag reads in local groups for sharing via AirDrop, cloud storage, email or stored locally on the device.

• Use the app with a Shearwell EID Stick Reader
• Send tag reads wirelessly by Bluetooth to NAIT Connect
• Send required data to NAIT (registration and movement)
• Count animals with EID tags accurately and easily
• Download tags from the Stick Reader's memory
• Group tag reads for management purposes

Collecting Data

Deer or cattle can be electronically tagged for fast and accurate tag reading via Shearwell’s Stick Reader.

Shearwell’s Stick Reader can read all electronic tags and store them on multiple groups or send them straight to the ‘NAIT Connect’ app

Tag groups can be created or received from the Stick Reader via Bluetooth. Tag numbers can also be entered manually if the Stick Reader is not available.

Using That Data

Register Animals

Single and groups of new animal tags can be sent directly to NAIT through the app to be registered as new animals and added to your NAIT online account.

Animals tags can be read just before transport to a new premises and a transfer request can be sent on the spot using the app.
Live Feed

The app can also be used to see live data read from the Stick Reader, making it easy to count and identify animals.
Send & Share

Animal tags can be stored on the app and managed in multiple groups if needed. Groups can then be sent via email, instant messaging service or uploaded to cloud storage.
